Hello My Hustlers, How the hustle going? Here's a thought to the 20 dollar challenge I told you about of just to add to your ongoing hustle. Let them know and represent you. If you have customers that like your stuff then why not make up T shirts with your hustle  name or slogan on them ( it's free) and let your customers represent you.

If your doing the $20 dollar challenge with me then once you get a hustle idea  this is one of the ways you can use once you get your customers to promote your hustle. Again did I mention it's all free.

I use Zazzle which is a commission based company you set up a store, do you own design and promote it to your customers.  You get a commission on the items you sell and you set the prices that you want to sell your items for. Using Zazzle is easy and It's free did I mention that.

I have seen where hustlers and Youtubers etc have open up Zazzle store and have put their company or themselves on a t shirt and their followers have purchased them because they like them so much.

I will be honest you might not make a zillion dollars with this but it's free and a way to let people who like you represent you in a fun way.

As you can see I use it myself for my hustle Cheap Cheetah and my online Bookstore. It's just another way for me to make a buck for my hustle.

Challenge 2019

                                            Hello My Hustlers, How's the hustle today?

Think about this for a minute. It's the holiday season and your hustle is booming with customers and cash that you can't keep up. But if your hustle is failing why not take the holiday and figure out a new hustle for 2019. But the catch is you can only use $20 for your new hustle or if you want to expand your old hustle it's still only $20 .You will be using to do it with. It's call the $20 Dollar Challenge. it's basically a challenge where you take $20 and grow it into say $1000 by the end of the year. But I put a twist on it. I have used the same concept but it about your hustle. Can you do it?

I am putting my test to work as well but I will be starting a new hustle with my $20 . Not sure what my hustle will be yet. I am still working on that part. But I know for sure I will only use my $20 and my imagination to create a hustle that hopefully will make me $500 by the end of 2019. So who's with me on this challenge? Come on it will be fun. Think of it this way so much stuff is free on the internet your bound to spread your $20 bucks. So that you can get more bang for your buck.  This challenge also help you to think outside of the box and surprise yourself with the new ideas   for your existing hustle or  to create  a fresh new  hustle. The choice is yours.

Think About....

 Hello My Hustlers, How the hustle going?

I know your busy right now with the holiday season and your busy doing your hustle. But once January comes around and when things slow down think about this. If you have spare time think about doing surveys for the gift cards? Why would I do that you ask?  Because gift cards would allow you to buy stuff for your hustle without using any money from your hustle. All your doing is spending your time to get gift cards to use toward your hustle expense.  That's better then using your money. That you might not have.

If the survey offer you money then great use that money to fund your hustle to. As long as it doesn't come out of your hustle funds then it's a win win in my book. Think about it.

Also if you get a chance go to the library and see if they have books on how you can improve your hustle for 2019. I am sure there are books in marketing, social media and the likes that will help you understand and market your hustle better for 2019.

I always tell you take every opportunity to learn your hustle and to make it better.

You just passed Black Friday, Cyber Monday and now it's time for the shopping to begin. I know has a hustler you have you discounts and promotions up and running. You are offering free shipping on items over a certain amount. You are doing you videos and podcast to enhance your hustle. You are telling everyone you know and people you don't  about   great gift idea  your products or services make. You doing all this and then some right?

I can not tell you how many advertisements I have gotten in my e mail box with people or cruise lines offering me incentives to part with my money. some are very clever and some are just annoying. Don't be annoying when it comes to you hustle be clever.

As far as my own personal hustle I am just getting back into been on vacation. I am hustling for the long run. My goal from my hustle are pretty small if I make $50 a month from my hustles I am good. But 2019 will be a whole another story for this hustle queen.

I know that everybody talks about Shark Tank to death, well think about it. When you watch it you do get inspired to start a business. You also realize what it takes to run a real business, the money, dedication and the ups and downs. This programs teaches you in someways weather or not you want the troubles and the uncertainty of starting a company. In so many words it makes your hustle look good, why I say that is this.

When you hustle on the side if you fail at it you will not lose a lot of money because you only invested what you could afford into it.

You are putting only your sweat  equity into your hustle with maybe a little bit of cash that you are getting from your full-time job.

You are testing the water of an ideas you have with your side hustle to see if it works ,not going gung-ho fulltime. So your hustle still allows you to keep a full-time job while trying your hustle  ideas out .

Your side hustles since it is small  allows you to change it up with out the added expenses of trying to make it bigger then what it is.

Your side hustle allows you to be responsible for yourself and no one else. You are the side hustles only employee. So you don't need to deal with salaries and other things like you would a big company. 

Your side hustle allows you to have two side hustles because one might not be enough and  two allows you to see which ideas work better for you and brings you in the most money.

You just might not want a big company you like you little side hustles. It fits you needs and it brings you the money you need with out all the hassle that running a big company brings.

So yes The Shark Tank is great for ideas and inspiration, but a side hustle is just as good as a big company. Go Side Hustle!

Hello My Hustlers, How the Hustle going? I might have talked about this before but it bears repeating FB live. This is a great tool to use to promote your hustle. Did I mention it was free. All you have to do is set up a Business or Fan page post some thing about your hustle and about you to. Now think about what you want your Fb live video to be about. Hint it should be about your hustle. I have seen where people sell clothing, jewelry, crystal stones. pearls. they Dj, sing songs, have books and comic book auctions. People are creative when they do Fb live shows and some are not. But that's ok your doing it to introduce your hustle to people and you are also introducing yourself.

This is a great tool to use to help you get out of your hustle comfort zone and try and connect to the people that you are selling to who you might not otherwise be able to connect to because they live in different states or even countries for that matter.. 

If you a person like myself that doesn't like to let people see me face to face ( I am more of a podcast person) then why not  dress up in a silly wig or outfit that way you can still promote your stuff and feel comfortable with the character you have created. I once  saw where a person on FB live that  did a scary clown segment. He talked about all things scary and crazy in full scary clown make up. It was funny.  He also happen to be working for a scary production company which he was promoting.

The main point is that you utilize all the free advertisement you can get so that you can generate new customer for your hustle.

My advise look at Fb live if you have not already and see what I am talking about. You might get some good ideas from it. What have you got to lose. But doing it you might just gain a couple thousand new customers for you hustle. Hey a couple hundred would be good to.

Teach

                                            Hello My Hustlers. How's the Hustle Going?

Teach, I know your saying What!!! I said Teach . Have you ever thought about teaching? You can put together a simple online course say for one day and you can teach people a little something about your hustle. Give them a little tease so that they want to come back for more.  For example if you make cakes you can create a course on how to say do a funny looking cupcake. If you sell clothing  teach people what accessories go with certain clothing. If you sell vintage toys like I do give them a quick history on how to properly clean their toys . You get the idea.

You have a skill that will allow you to teach others how to do something. You don't have to have a 10 week course, you can make it a 1 day 30 minute thing.  Once you finish teaching them see what the response is like. If people like it do another course but this time if your selling e books or something incorporate what your selling at the end of the course like this. "Hey I have an e book that will get in detailed about this at ….. ." Or if you would like  the clothing or accessories that I just showed you can contact me at..... you get the idea. When you teach don't make it a commercial really teach people something and at the end just sneak in where they can find your stuff online.

This is another way to get your hustle to people who would not know you and also teach them something that they never really realized they had an interest into before you started teaching it. Teaching is a way to promote your hustle and extend your client base think about it better yet teach it.

Hello My Hustlers. How's the Hustle going?

Theme Hustles?? I know this might sound a bit off but bare with me for a moment. You know how people have theme parties. Why not incorporate that idea to you hustle or service. I use to sell lingerie & romance toys at home parties and when the holidays like Columbus Day, Halloween came around. I thought of  ways I could incorporate that holiday with a party ideas  or use the holiday to promote my business. For example for Columbus day I had a idea like Sail Away into the unknown with this great lingerie pieces that I am sure Columbus would approve of. You know something like that. For my party ideas I would dress up in a scary outfit for Halloween.  I would also decorate my lingerie table with say Halloween items & offer scary Halloween promotions to get more customers to buy. You get  the idea.

Use the holidays to boost your hustle. People like to be entertained and have fun around  the holidays . So think of something that is cute but a customer grabber. Maybe on your facebook page  say something like the person that buys whatever your offering and post a scary picture of themselves or their pets will win a gift certificate to?? or a percentage off their next order with me. Something like that.

Be creative and think about how you want to attract people around a themed idea. There are so many holidays coming up in the next couple of months your bound to think of something.

Get Ready

                                         Hello My Hustlers, How that Hustle Going?

This Sunday is the first day of Autumn and it Ready, Set ,Go Time when it come to Hustle Season. The summer was ok but the fall is when you get to really working for the dollar. I mean fall is when people are in the mood to buy more. The reason is the holiday season is coming up. Holiday checks are in the mail and people feel the need to spend more then they did for the summer.  With that in mind you should be ready for them to spend their money your way.

If you have an online business are you getting things ready like putting out new merchandise on your site, advertising , giving your local customer free gifts or discounts. This is the same if you have a service business. Are you looking into places that you can set up shop for the holiday season like churches, lions clubs, women's functions etc. Are you also ready to do a Facebook live sell. To sell your products and services. All I am saying is it's time to get ready and get that holiday money.

I have personally found that the fall and winter are my best months for making money. Summer not so much.  I even spend more money in the fall months then I do in the summer. Not sure why just I do.

So start your engines, Get ready , Get set and Start hustling hard for the fall and winter. The money is out there you just have to go get it.

Going Out Of Business

 Hello My hustlers, how's the hustle going? Going out of business is it a good thing for a hustler or a bad thing? I am not talking about you going out of business I am talking about other companies. Let's say that Sears which it is  going out of business. Slowly every week they are marking down their prices on the stuff they sell even the store  fixtures and furniture. Do you take advantage of the great prices you can get on say a mannequin if your selling clothing. Do you take advantage of the cheap file cabinets that the store might have. I say yes. Depending on what your hustle is and if you have room for it.

If your hustling say clothing and you can find some really good deals and you can re-sell them why not. If you can find things that you can give as thank you gifts in  going out of business sales, why not. If you can get supplies or furniture that you need for dirt cheap at these kinda sales why not.

We all think  when we see going out of business sales clothing and stuff. We never consider the office supplies, office furniture and other stables that we might need to set up our hustle offices that we can get cheap.

I have  been in a Sears that was going out of business they were selling their office furniture, calculators, computers,  mannequin's, store tables and  shelves, display cases all at 70% off.

For my hustlers out there don't sleep on going out of business sales you never know what you can grab for your hustle that is good, needed and cheap.

Failures

  

                                 Hello My Hustlers, how's the Hustle going Today?

Today we are talking about failures. Well mine anyway. The things that I have tried over the years that just did not work for me any more.

                                     Flea Markets- I was in the flea market business for 5 years in the beginning it worked. I had places that I would set up on the weekends and the money was good. But the work was hard and stressful. You had to find a place to work, pay the fee for the weekend, set up your stand and hope that people would buy from you.  Sometimes you made money and something you didn't but it was work never the less. The expenses in the end did not justify all the hard work you had to do. Plus you were a slave to the weather if it was nice you worked, rainy you didn't. Summer months  you would sweat to death and get sunburn if it was very hot. The fall was nice to work outside and the holidays mad it easy to sell But the winter months were inside. If you could find a place inside to set up in the winter months to sell . Basically these were church events that had holiday flea markets.

                                      Multi-level Marketing- Back when that was the thing. I sold lingerie and pleasure toys. It was fun at first but again the expense of gas for the car, advertising, buying merchandise and gift giveaways was eating up my profits. Not to mention that you had to find the people to have  home parties, travel all over the place, set up your display in people's home. Not knowing how people are living and  hope your  hostess invited enough people so that you could make some money. For me most of the time it was more of a house party then a selling one.  This was all before social media became so popular.

                                  Selling Books- I love books and I use to buy them in bulk and sell them to my co-workers and people who like to read. Again before social media and the internet took off. I use to get the books at a discount and sell them for a profit. Until the returns on the books were costing me  more then  it was worth. So the profits were lost. I stop selling books.


                                     Avon Lady- this was a bad ideas because I am not a make up person. But for a $10 start up I had to try. I never realized how many Avon people were selling at my job and other places. The competition was to stiff and the profit that you made was to little to keep it up. Also trying to get customers was not an easy task and I really did not believe in what I was selling so I stopped.


 Nowadays I just sell on line in my stores and my T shirt company. They are doing ok but at least I am not spending a lot of time setting up and wishing  on good weather. I just put my stuff out , advertise like crazy, offer discounts, incentive and hope that people will buy something. The best thing is the pressure is not there like the other side hustles I have had. Well these were my failures all I can say is keep trying and keep hustling.

How Many??

Hello My Hustlers, How's The Hustle?

Is it possible to have to many online stores when it comes to selling your products? I know it's hard to have an online store when it comes to selling your service. If you have a service hustle you can create an online store to sell your e books, Tshirts with your name or quotes on them etc. You get the idea. But how many is to many online store to have  when it comes to selling stuff 3,7,15?

Some say one is enough that way it allows you to concentrate on just that one. Some say two is good because your two stores might get different customer traffic form different places.

Personally I have 3 online store but they are all different. One sells T shirts & things,  one is my bookstore and one is my yard sale store. All of my stores sell different things for different reasons. Yes it's a pain to promote them but then I am a sucker for free stuff and opening up an online store is free. The promoting will cost you, you have to work to promote it. which I do. You might have to  pay some money to promote which I try not to do that. I try and do my hustle within a fixed budget.  So back to the question how many stores for your hustle is to many?

Realize the work that goes into your online store, first finding a free one, then setting it up with merchandise, finding a way for buyers to pay you like setting up a PayPal Or Stripe account.. Then promoting it. You know everybody has a online store nowadays selling mostly  everything. You can always go the way of auction sites like E bay. But E- bay has some issues, so to me it's better to just open my own online store . That way I can control it better.

But how many stores I would say start with one and see how it goes from there. If it's successful then branch out. Remember you need only one to test the online store waters and make sure it's a free one with no hidden fees.

Hello My Hustlers, How the hustle going?

Today I am talking about blogging, Since that is all the rage right now. When it comes  to your hustle it's a good idea to blog about it among other things. As you can see I have about 3 different blogs myself which I use like I would a website. I post content, put advertisement on my blogs, sell stuff from my blogs. I love  blogging but that's just me. Ask me how much I have made from all this blogging I will tell you...……...0. Some people make money some don't. But don't let that discourage you . You should have a blog so that you can promote your products and services and to  maybe make a little bit of money from advertiser from it. 

Remember always look for a way to get a free blog like I have from e blogger. Here are some other free blog sites  to build your blog on Wordpress, Web.com, SimpleSite & Wix.  I have found 

E blogger and SimpleSite pretty easy to do.

Once you have your name for your blog which is whatever your hustle is. Then add some picture , content and keep it simple. This way you can drive  online traffic to your blog site. Which in return they can read your content, buy your products or book an appointment with you for your services. They might even use some of your advertisers services that way you  can get a small commission from that to. Every dime counts when your hustling. Also try and add a personal touch to your blog. Don't always sell. Let the readers know you as a person. 

I mainly use my blogs to promote my online stores, my podcast and to share my lifestyle with others . If I make money from my blogs  great. If not then I am still getting the traffic to promote other things and I am meeting new people in the process. Which is a win win in my book any hustling day.

Hello My Hustlers, How the hustle?

Today I am talking to you about Pinterest. Which is a social media platform. I know we all know Facebook, Twitter. and especially Instagram but do you know Pinterest?   Don't sleep on Pinterest because if you do you might miss the boat when it comes to making sales for your hustle. First the good thing about Pinterest is that it's free to set up a business account or a personal account. I have a personal one for now. But on my personal board I do have my hustle boards as well.

Pinterest works like a pin up board you have a topic let's say for example I have a board about Crazy Cakes. I use that board to post crazy looking cakes and things related to crazy looking cakes. Using Pinterest is easy. Now for your hustle if you are selling a service or item. You would open a business account then you would create boards that's related to your hustle and your personal interest to. The reason I say that is because your business account should have something about your personal interest as well. People don't always want you selling them stuff all the time they want to know you.

They offer some great videos on YouTube on how to get started on Pinterest. And how to open a business account step by step. The reason I am telling you this is that Pinterest has millions of people on their platform and if you could get 3%  in sales from these people you would be doing ok.  Heck if you get 1% your still good in my book. This is another way to draw traffic to your hustle.

It was interesting in the fact that with a bit of efforts he started out of the gate making money. I like doing that. Even thought his idea was a hit. Sometimes  it takes times to get the right idea, the money and the time to hustle. But no matter what your hustle or story is I am here to say you can do this!
Heck I might try this myself with $100 or less. I just need a good idea.

Don't Even Think About It!!!

 Your tired, feel like your hustle is a waste of time and money, Nobody is buying from you, you don't have the faith you once did when you started your hustle? Does all that sound like you right now? Well think about this Don't Even think about stopping your Hustle!!!  You can change the hustle your doing,  Re think your old hustle making new ways to attract people and helping it grow. But don't think about quitting.  But do think about this if Jeff Bezos  stopped his hustle of selling books on line  back in the early days of  Amazon. Would amazon be as big as it is now?  Yes that's a picture of  the beginning of Amazon. Think about how big your hustle could and will be if you never give up.  I am sure most people who hustle go through trying times and face the good, bad and really ugly but they press on because they love what they do and they believe in it.  So keep your hustle alive and    keep it moving.

                                            Hello My Hustlers. How's the hustle going?

 I was thinking and hear me out before you say anything. Regarding your hustle. I love my yard sales and I go to them in the summer months. What I have seen at yard sales are brand new printers, office supplies, computers, ipads, cameras, video recorders. books, briefcases, lockboxes  etc. Now your hustling and you need stuff to continue the hustle. Say you need a new printer but can not afford to buy it at full price. Ever think about yard sales? They offer pennies on the dollar for stuff. I have seen printers go for as little as $10. Computers $25, video cameras updated ones $5.  Things that you might need for you hustle why pay retail when you can buy it cheap at yard sales and flea markets.

I personally have purchased ink for my computer, pens, pads and phone headset cheap. Less then they would have cost me in a retail store.   Remember your hustling that means you have a budget and paying retail is not in the budget.  Sometimes people have yard sales and  give you  free  stuff because they just want to get rid of it. Also think about your hustle and if you offer your customers free gifts. Why not shop for them at yardsales. Since I sell books on line I always looks for nice gifts in relations to books to giveaway to my customers. They appreciate it, it cost me next to nothing to buy it and I might get a referral from that customer. Who knows.

I know your hustle might be a service or selling stuff, but what could it hurt if you pass a yard sale to stop and see what the person is offering you might find some good stuff cheap.

I also  shop yard sales when I go away on trips if I need nice luggage, music for my cd player, travel cups whatever I need for a trip. I have found some nice dresses that I was eyeing for $50 each  in a retail store at a yardsale for $1 each.   I wear them when I go to networking events for my hustle.

Boredom

                                            Hello My Hustlers, How's the Hustle Going?

Let's talk about being bored with our hustle. You started a hustle on the side your are  excited. Your   doing all you can to get it off the ground. After a few months or maybe even a year  you have done all you can with your hustle. You get bored with it. Does this sound like you. I know this is me to a T. I get bored easily and if my hustles don't work fast enough for me I move on to another hustle. Because let's be truthful not every hustle will work, Sometimes you have to keep  trying different hustles until one pops. 

 If you like your hustle and you still want to give it time to see if  you can build it to something great . Here are some of my suggestions so that you will not get bored with your hustle  while doing it.

1. Add something to your hustle that interest you. Ex; I sell books on line but I also like coffee  which goes with books. So what I did was I added selling coffee with my book shop on line. I also write articles about crazy coffees . This adds to my online business and it a new outlet that helps me not get bored with my hustle.

2. Take a group of friends out to lunch and ask them what kind of crazy promotions they would offer if they had a hustle like yours. You will get two things out of doing this  a fun day with friends and some new hustle promotional ideas.

3 Keep In Touch with those who support you, Your parents, friends , brothers, sisters. People who love you and support you no matter what. Sometimes when you hustle you forget that their are people who love you  no matter what your doing

4 Learn a new skill for your current hustle or a new  hustle  you have in mind. It's never to late to learn something new. Learning something always takes ways boredom  and replaces it with excitement.

5 It's ok walk away from your hustle for minute to regroup. Get out of the house go for a walk. See a movie, concert or a comedy show.   Go have some fun and laugh.  After a day or so come back to your hustle with fresh eyes and new ideas.

                       These are some suggestions to combat boredom when your hustling.

For some summer is the best time for them because  their hustle is based on the summer months. Like a Mr  Soffee's ice cream  truck coming around selling ice cream in the neighborhood. He/she could only do this in the summer. Or like Cony Island  in Brooklyn they can only open in the warmer months. Because the winter is not ideal in New York to ride rides and be outside. The point I am making is some hustles make there money in a short period of time and some hustles die or shall I say slow down in the summer months. I have a few online stores and during the summer they are slooooow. But in the fall they pick back up again. So if you have a hustle like mine. While your slow these are some of the things that you can do for your hustle.

1. Brainstorm new ideas that will enhance and improve your  hustle. If your thinking about  adding something new to your hustle try it for the summer and see if it will work. Make sure your not putting a lot of money in to this new project remember it's only a trial.

2. I know I talked about social media and your hustle should be on it. But if there's a platform that you feel would enhance your hustle and your not on it . Give it a try and see what happens.

3.“Summer-ize” Your Marketing Think of creative ways to incorporate summer themes into your marketing, such as blog posts, Facebook updates, newsletters, events, and more. Give your readers good summer content like grilling recipes, your summer reading list, or summer pet care tips. If applicable, you could even treat your top clients to a summer activity like golf, a baseball game, summer wine tasting, lunchtime barbecue, et Make this small and affordable. 

4. Set Time Aside for Yourself As an entrepreneur, you’ve probably gotten used to working round the clock. Your clients and customers are taking vacation, so maybe you should to. Whether you take a two-week beach vacation or just make a point to set aside an hour to do something you enjoy every day, remember that it’s important to recharge your batteries in order to stay focused and motivated throughout the year.

5 Get Out of your comfort zone and make new connections. Like I stated before parades, concerts, festivals are all summer events. Take advantage of them have some fun and get out and meet new people for your hustle.

                                     Hello My Hustlers, how's your hustle going?

Yesterday I happen to be watching the pride parade in New York and they had over 1 million people in attendance and thousands in the parade. This is the summer and a lot of parades will be going on. This is a good opportunity for you. First let me say that while I was watching the pride parade there were people hustling the Pride flags and all kind of pride stuff. Keyword is hustle

There was so many people in one place this again was an opportunity...

With so many people focus on one thing  the parade and having a good time. All you have to do is print some fliers or postcards  about your products or services and make them relatable to your audience.  Say your at the pride parade and your hustle is selling a service. let's say web design so you have a flier that features some web designs that are universal for the straight and pride community. You give your fliers, postcard some color and then you stand in a nice cool place and hand them out. Be warned  you might see your fliers on the floor  because people will look at it and they might throw in on the ground. When that happen to me I picked up my flier and dusted it off and handed  it to another person. Hey that's my money on the  floor. If the flier is still good why not.

 You have so many people that you might not other wise see what could it hurt, The event was free and all it will cost you is transportation money, money for the fliers and your time. But if you can get some customers out of it won't it be worth what you have spend to do it?

                                  Hello My Hustlers, How The Hustle Going?


Are you trying to do to many things for your hustle and getting no where fast? That's me I try to do to many things for my many hustles and end up nowhere. Whatever you hustle is you know that you can do so much in the time that you have allotted for your hustle. If you only have 3-5 hours for your hustle go over what's working for the hustle and what's not. If advertising is working then find other places that you can advertise your hustle. If giving out free samples is not bring you in new customer or money then let that go .It's just that simple. Time is  something  that we can not get back and by using your time with your hustle wisely. You can get more out of it.
Believe me I have tried most of what I am telling you when it comes to getting more attention for my hustle. Some worked for me some  didn't and the ones that did not I still wasted time by not admitting to myself that what I was doing was  not working.

You are only one person with a full time job, family, friends and other things that you have to do in life. Your hustle time might  be limited. So work on the areas of your hustle that either produce more customers or more money. Here's a personal story when it comes to my hustle. One of my hustles I was doing was podcasting about it. I love doing podcast. I did it for 10 years and had  a couple thousand people who listen to me.  I made some money  with my podcast to which was nice. Then  I switched over to YouTube Nothing no followers, no money no nothing. YouTube did not work for me but my podcast did. People and money wize.  All I am saying is when it comes to your hustle give up what's not working and work on what does work.

                                  Hello My Hustlers  how's your hustle going?

Please don't get offended by the picture but I came across it yesterday and I thought sometimes with difficult customers this is what I want to do to them (LOL). Because I want to remain a  professional  I listen to their complaint's and comments and I try and correct what the problem is . If I can. Something people want to much for free. So I just wanted to share this with you to see if you feel the same way at times when you come across difficult people in your hustle.

Bookeeping Simple

                                  Hello My Hustles, How Your Hustle Going?


Bookkeeping for the hustler. I dislike bookkeeping but you have to do it. If you don't keep your books how will you know where your monies going and if your making money or not.
Here's what I do since bookkeeping is really not my thing. I get a simple ledger book called Accounts Worksheet book ( that what I use) or a small black and white notebook works just as well  Which ever is cheaper. Check your 99 cent store or Staples  out sometimes they have a sale on ledger books the small ones. The ones with all the lines it. If not get a simple black and white books and draw your own lines.
                                                         Here's what I do 

My First column for  my hustle expenses in that I would put  what it cost me in supplies,  gas money, bus fare, event fees, advertising fees, online fees etc.

My Second Column would be the  money I made from my hustle.

My Third column would be how much I spend on merchandise. Since I run online stores I purchase merchandise for them. If you have a service business you might still need to buy merchandise for giveaways or to sell as part of  the service that you provide.

On the top of my  Bookkeeping page I put in my budget for my hustle. Since I started this $20 hustle I put $20 on the top of my page  With the word budget next to it. But we all know I have went way over that already. Put in a realistic budget say $50-100 to start your hustle. Between advertising and merchandise and other misc. it will cost your about that much to start.

Just keep your books so that when the end of the year or you can check your books every 6 months that's up to you. You just need to have a realistic idea of where your at with your hustle. By keeping your books in order you will know if your hustle is profitable, how much money your spend on it and if you might need a new hustle. It also shows you where you need to make some changes when it comes to spending to much in one category versus spending to little in another.

        As long as you keep hustle books  do what works for you and keep hustling.
